"Hi fellow Captains, phew... that was a long one today. Took off from Liege in the morning loaded with tractor parts and some strange looking tubing!? Cargo manifest showed 120,000 lbs of cargo but I bet there was more on board! The take off run was looong and we barely left mother earth before running out of the runway. Thunderstorms aplenty over England and over Belfast, we were dodging the monsters at FL310. Slugish, slugish, the bird didn't want to fly properly no matter what I tried. Our Engineer was even more miserable; of course, who else is there to blame when the engines won't run, eh? <!--emo&:D--><!--endemo--> [attachmentid=119] Atlanta skies were crowded as usual but I guess Polar Air has a good reputation around here, we were slotted for approach without much hassle. And down we went, kissed the ground at just over -200 fpm - must've been a fortunate gust of wind in the right place at the right time because, yes, well... no matter... <!--emo&B)--><!--endemo--> Our American friends are obvioulsy doing a great job around here. I mean, I really didn't feel like doing a go-around after 10 hours in the air! Beer's on me, guys. <!--emo&:)--><!--endemo--> "
