Battle of the Freighters

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Battle of the Freighters

Post by GTI1643 »

There seems to be a cool freighter event on the last Sunday of September. I wonder if we can get in on this as well?
Details here.

More details from the organizer:

A quick reminder about this Sunday's event "Battle of the Freighters" from 21:00z until 00:00z. Memphis ARTCC and Indianapolis ARTCC will be opening up Memphis, Louisville and Covington ( The homes of the three big freight companies in the US ) for a fun filled night of heavy metal.

They're asking and encouraging all VA's to avoid the "Congo-Line" style of group flights and ask that everyone come in real world style from cities that we respectfully fly from. If you do come in as a "Congo-Line" style of group we ask that you guys please communicate with your team in the back channels and watch your spacing. ( Help us help you ) We've heard from quite a few and expect the skies to be busy between all three airports.

We're reaching out to everyone because it's not just freighters that fly between and to these airports... It's all of you as well. We hope to see you there!
