"Fellow captains, I noticed that some still find this a mistery. PIREPS are sent without or with incomplete callsigns and flight numbers. How the heck do you get past ATC is beyond me... <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> So here it is, a refresher: As an example, let's take a Polar flight from Amsterdam, Schiphol, number 605. Flight number: PO605 Callsign: PAC605 For Atlas charter flights, let's take a Rome to Dubai flight number 1035. Flight number: 5Y1035 Callsign: GTI1035 When you open FSAcars, most of the work is done for you automatically. In the ""Flight IATA"" field, enter the number of the flight, from our above example, 605 or 1035. Callsign gets filled automatically . Now all that is left is to choose the correct Aircraft type (you know the registration number, right?) to be as thorough as a real pilot would be. And of course, don't forget the flight plan. Ok, bring the beer now... <!--emo&--><!--endemo-->"
