International Charts

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Hey Folks-- I am eagerly anticipating my first leg which departs soon from KORD to RJAA (NRT). However, I can't figure out how to obtain international charts! Does anyone have any ideas? At least, how about the freq for any ILS at NRT and ICN. Thanks, Matt"

"DAFIF Charts Scroll down and you'll see a section for charts. It covers quite a bit, not every airport though. Also.. If you get stuck, go to vatsim.net and poke around in the various virtual ARTCCs and FIRs, you should be able to find charts."

You can find arrival and departure charts for RJAA at: http://www.twin.ne.jp/~watanabe/satjpn/sncc_e.html I could not find any instrument approach charts. I just flew into RJAA and did it visually (not a great practice) but the weather was pretty good. You can find RKSI charts at: https://164.214.2.62/products/digitalae ... l__rksi I finally gave up and decided to order Jeppesen SimCharts. I am tired of spending hours just trying to find charts. $69 for 3 regions seems like a reasonable price to save a lot of hassle. I expect them to arrive tomorrow. Lee

You can get charts from http://www.berrygelderblom.nl/ They provide links to a number of sources. Regards

"FSCharts is also another good source that is very easy to use. Every airport I've entered has had something for it. If there are no real charts available, your search still returns a very simple runway layout with frequencies map. Also gives you runway lengths/widths and mag hdg. For quite a few airports it gives you real charts also. Justin"

This already comes to nearly 100mb but I am happy to let Globe have this library if someone can give me an FTP address where I can upload it. The ones missing are Campinas, Gothenburg, Chennai, Jakarta, Santiago and Taipei. The rest are more or less complete and pretty well up to date.- - if anyone knows of any sites where I can get the missing ones I would be grateful for the link. "

Look to the top right of the webpage for the FIR divisions. You will find STARS, SIDs, etc for the airports. http://www.vatsam.org/home/ "

There are 3 pages. Go to the bottom of that page and go to page two. You'll find SCEL. Click on this link and go to page the second page. Good Luck! http://www.via56.cl/dasa/aip_chile_con_ ... gina=00"

Go to the VATSIM webpage and on he right side you will find the ARTCC/FIR regions. I haven't look in all of them but have found most useful in the past. FYI ... The link to SCEL was vatsam.org not vatsim.net. BTW - Brasil is located in the South American Region on the vatsim webpage. http://www.vatsim.net/"
