Hi Guys !!! Just an information! Flying from europe to Sydney I guess the fight is too long to fly it one step only so i need a stop over somewhere. Can i deceide where to stop ? Or we have a specia Company airport where i can do refueiling stop? And what about if i would fly to KL (malaysia) and the from K to sydney would be a good idea or not? And with fsacars i need to do two different acars? Thanks a lot <!--emo&--><!--endemo-->

"It is my understanding that when the leg is too long, you can pick any suitable airport of your choice as a refueling stop when you are doing your flight planning. You must use THAT as your flight plan in FSACARS however. After refueling and sending your PIREP for that first part of the ""leg"", then reload the second flight plan from that airport to your final stop. For instance, I just flew from KATL to PANC instead of KATL to RKSI (which was the leg I accepted). Upon reflection, winds of 40-50 knots at 1500ft AGL with crosswind gusts at landing of 20-30knots did not provide for a very pleasant final approach and landing... but that's not related to the question! Today, I'll finish my assigned leg by flying from PANC to RKSI. Therefore, when flight planning, I generated two separate flight plans using FSBuild2... hope this helps! Also, I'm not sure how long to use between landing and take-off for refueling stops, but I normally use a time frame of one hour. Anybody who thinks this should be different, please advise! As an aside... I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I actually landed at an airport once with the RFP 742 and I could NOT refuel using the refueling panel... I'm wondering if the airport I chose to land perhaps did NOT have jet fuel????? Interesting... and if so, then a poor choice on my part! Good luck! Jim PAC1141"
