Building crash

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Hi there, after crossing the ocean, a beautiful landing, taxiing to the gate, only to be stopped by a building which had a rendez-vous with my left wing. <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> Strange thing is that I was taxiing (according to FAA-regulations) on the center of the taxiway!! Has anyone ever had problems with this??? So, is the damage to the building subtracted from my pay???????? Happy landings (and dockings!!) Wijnand"

"I have that same problem at Incheon...they have a building touching the edge of the taxiway. If you take a left coming out of the cargo, it's right there."

"Hi I experienced a similar problem in Chennai, No pay deduction yet but 0 hour flying time! frustrating after a nice long flight and a good landing with no broken runway lights for a change... But we are all responsible for the aircraft until parking brake is on! cheers"

"I've had this problem too. Now I stop and send the log before I exit the runway, then I taxi to the cargo ramp. Nothing worse than losing a long flight because of some invisible ""gotcha."" billg"

"After clipping the building at RKSI (Incheon) and screwing up my flight, I turned off crash detection. I think I fly good enough to turn it off without thinking that I am somehow cheating. This avoids the very irritating unexpected building crashes. At RKSI, I recommend taking the taxiway between the runways if you are departing to the north as a way to avoid the building. "
