Our site Administrator Mike Hanke is always working on new tools for the Administrators and the pilots and the latest can be found on the Pilot PIREP Info menu of the main web site. It is a Flight Profile tool that will analyze and show information pertaining to your flights. Enter a pilot number or select a pilot from the drop down list to get it started. If there are multiple flights in can be narrowed down in the profile drop down box. You can also select to show the numbers for speed and altitude for even more comprehensive data. This tool only started recording flight information 24 hours ago so old flights are not in your profile listings. It is self explanatory so I don't think that a manual is required to use this tool. Check it out and enjoy. If you have any questions please post them here.

"Ralph, I am now more confused than before, not about the flight analyzer (it seems to work very well), but about the relationship between all aspects of flying for Globe and getting credit for said flights. Since the last time FSAcars started giving Database Error messages, I have not be able to fly a flight without some sort of error and subsequently no credit given for the flight. The last two flights I have flown were both from KSEA to PANC (PO187) both of which ended the FSAcars session with an error message and no credit given. Now, for the same two flights, the flight analyzer can show me my flight profile. How can this be? During the last two weeks, I have received several emails with regard to the FSAcars problem, the network, server, etc. which I have not been able to successfully use to log a successful flight. I know that I must be a minority of one, but would it be possible to publish a one or two page list of required conditions for an successful flight along with possible optional conditions that may be employed? I am particularly confused about any relationship between the Dispatch phase and the FSAcars. A very simple (for me) 1,2,3 step list of required conditions for successfully logging a flight would be enormously helpful for this poor soul. Thank you in advance for all of your help. It's difficult for me to help you because I can not produce this kind of error when sending a logfile. Perhaps other pilots who had experienced that same kind of error can give you a hint! "Ron As Mike has said, this is a difficult problem to come up with an easy answer too. You are obviously connecting to the server without a problem is Flight Data is being saved for Flight Analysis purposes. Your problem is somewhere in the FSACars configuration by the sounds of things. Have you reinstalled FSACars since we reported having a server problem? I am not suggesting that you should but merely asking if you have? FSACars has not changed in any way and if you have reinstalled it something small may have been overlooked when configuring it. I know that some pilots did do a reinstall when I suggested by group mail that pilots suspend flying until the server updates were completed and since then they are experiencing problems. I think that most pilots that waited until the server updates were complete were able to carry on without any problems. Giving Mike details on when and what the error is, may help to determine the cause and cure for the error."

"Ron, I had the same problem. Here""s what happened to me. I tested with 5555 and it whent fine. Then did a flight but was behind and the flight was in April. It could not be sent and I had an Internet Error same as you and Bert. But I just finished my first flight this month and I just sent my log fine, no problem. I hope this help. By the way, if any admin from NSA are reading, I sent my log manually last week for a flight from PANC to KMSP. If you guys are busy no problems <!--emo&;)--><!--endemo--> but if you did not received it, just tell me and I'll gladly re-send it. "I sent you a personal mail a few minutes ago regarding this. I ask you to search your FSACars folder thoroughly for any files with the extension DAT and remove them. This is the only reason that I can think of causing your problem. The DAT files would have been created when the server was being updated and logs were getting a database error. As long as these DAT files exist, you will not be able to send a log to the server. I expect that there are DAT files in the folder as you are sending two identical files for each flight."
