"Hi to all who always wanted to have a look behind the scenes of our dispatch and flight procedures : 1. Flight Dispatcher The dispatcher gets his route and weather informations from official websites (for example NOAA for METARs). The Dispatcher
 • stores all your flight data in a database for later use.

 • provides you with a printable version (as web page or if requested as PDF file).

 • generates a listing of waypoints in decimal converted format (Appendix A) for INS usage

 • supplies a FS9 compatible flightplan

 • stores all flight relevant data for later FSACARS (client) use.

2. Flight Analyzer The Flight Analyzer
 • collects data which is sent by FSACARS

 • combines data on a per pilot, per route basis and calculates tracks and profiles

 • displays flight-/track information on a webpage

Attention: The date and time values are local to the server where data is stored (PST). They do not correspond to your scheduled flight dates! 3. PIREPs are stored independent of the above described features in a seperate databse. The transmission is done either by clicking Send Log after a finished flight or by sending the logfile via E-Mail (as a fallback) If you want you can download the Globe Cargo Data Storage Description which is hopefully informative for you! "Thanks for the information Mike, it will be helpful for most of us to understand what happens behind the scenes and just how complex these things are."
