I think I'll stay away from Vista and FSX for some time until it works.

I always run in full screen unless I'm checking something like weather, servinfo or browsing the net. I hope to have a dual monitor system going soon.

That happened to me but years ago now and it was to do with the video card not being focused, or something like that.

John, actually Vista is working great. I would not go back to XP if my life depended on it. The full screen mode is just something that "some" have found has a small glitch in it. Its not a "flight ender." If the glitch shows up, you just have to go to the other screen mode. I will have to say, my fears about vista were just that... fears. I have not had one regret at all since I got everything installed. All the propaganda about running it in administrator mode etc etc.. Its no big deal, you simply click on "run as administrator" and that is all. I'm sure alot of the issues people are having are simply a lack of simple knowledge in regard to Vista. I did not have to read a volume of instructions or anything, simply got aquainted with it, and went to work installing my usual add-ons. My performance has been wonderful, screen resolutions like I have never experienced in my life. Just FYI.

I just turned off User Account Control (UAC) altogether in Vista and you don't have to run as administrator anymore. And as I said earlier, if you hold the ALT key for a few seconds, the menu bar disappears.
