Globe Cargo March/ Cross The Pond 2009 Westbound

Post by Ken S »

Here are the images I managed to take during the event. Just so you know, today at one time I saw 775 pilots on-line and another 90 controllers?? All the Vatsim servers were overloaded even with the addition of 2 servers. I had a total of 8 disconnects enroute and 1 FSX freeze up descending thru 9k into CYYZ. No big deal. There was tons of traffic and controllers on-line. I was contacted by EDDF ground to move over to A25 as a PAX gate assignment in EDDF which I found just a little unrealistic. I was one of the lucky ones to have an early departure so I may have avoided some of the frustrations. I had a great time being handed off to a total of 16 different controllers for the entire flight. What an opportunity to fly in an intense oceanic crossing procedure flight.

Thanks to all who participated and sorry to those who were unable to log on or had other commitments.

Sorry to those who might have been terribly frustrated with disconnects.
