Thanks Joe!

Don't really feel like opening a complete new topic for just a few shots, but here are some snaps from the flight I just departed (Anchorage - Seoul, Incheon).

Maik Korolczuk just airborne as 'Giant 5472' to Hong Kong

Lovely landscape over here!

Jason,

Very nice shots!! So, you must be using FSINN to get such a nice departure shot of Maik? Thats the one thing I really dislike about Squawkbox- the lack of realistic looking traffic  . And welcome to GCVA!

Hi Jay P,

Well, I use Walk&Follow to move around the airplane and get the angle I like. Unfortunately I'm not flying on VATSIM, but on IVAO. The traffic you see is from the IVAO MTL Library wich comes with the virtual Pilot Client. It looks great indeed!

EDIT: One last shot of the arrival in Incheon, very nice scenery by Overland.

out of interest guys are we allowed to fly on IVAO?

i thought globecargo was VATSIM only as there is only space on the roster for your VATSIM ID and not for any IVAO ID....

also if we fly on different networks there is even less chance of meeting up than there is at the moment

sorry jason  it just struck me but there maybe i am wrong...

regards terry

That's what I was wondering too. I haven't found a written rule saying that it's not allowed to fly on IVAO. I did found a line saying that it is preferred that a pilot flies on VATSIM because of all events taking place on that network. In my application I didn't file a VATSIM ID (since I don't have one), but I did mention that I fly on IVAO. Since my application got accepted, I guess it's fine.

I just had a quick look at the pilot roster, and I see I'm not the only one without a VATSIM ID.. :P

Don't be sorry Terry, I understand if it's a little confusing. I'm not 100% sure myself. If it's 'officially' not allowed to fly on IVAO, it would be good for me to know. Maybe I'll have a look at VATSIM then..

Beautiful!

I have and love that Overland scenery too...its one of the best payware sceneries available in my opinion. You'll be giving it a good workout at this VA :)

Should be more PAX and Cargo aircrafts I think. This is a big airport.
