"Very nice pics! I agree, I love the EDDF Aerosoft scenery! By the way, are we allowed to use the liveries of the airlines we fly for, or do we stick with Polar and Atlas liveries?"

If you want 100% realism, then fly Atlas for all charters except for Emirates. Atlas Air has 4 747-400F's painted in Emirates SkyCargo colors. In the past, Atlas had some aircraft painted in other colors such as China Airlines Cargo for example."

"Ah, ok!!! I thought that this kind of charters was flown using the Lufthansa, British, Korean... liveries. I had seen some pics of a B744, painted in British World Cargo livery, and a legend in the front, saying "Operated by Atlas Air". Same in China Cargo livery. I suppose this was in the past http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=46756 Then, let me know, all the flights using Atlas livery, except the Emirates flights, is this correct? Thanks in advance, Michel [Edit - TH: Airliners.net do not allow displaying their images on external websites without the photographer's written permission. I changed the image to a link which is allowed.]"

"there is a BA world cargo livery in the fleet page,N495MC, I think it is for the 742 if I am not mistaken. Michel, perhaps we need a "sticky" somewere clarifing this, as I am confused also, (nothing new there), when atlas takes cargo for quantas, or china, etc, do they actually use an atlas plane and crew, or do they sent the atlas crew to fly the other companies aircraft. There was something written up in the atlas forum somewere about this some time ago, but I cannot seem to find it. Maybe Craig has some insite on this. It would be nice to fly another livery sometimes, just for a change in scenery..... :D  Ok, just checked in the PM, under section 3.8 ACMI operations, seems to explain it. But perhaps a sicky for easier access , just a thought"

Yes, Atlas used to fly in China Airlines and BA colors. I think I saw some pics on airliners.net of Atlas flying on behalf of Alitalia, Cargolux and Fedex as well. All flights are flown using Atlas crew and planes, and as far as I know, only 4 planes are painted in Emirates colors right now. All others are in Atlas (except for Polar) colors."
