Timezone problems

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Timezone problems

Post by thansson »

"Does anyone except me have strange timezone problems in FS? In some of my earlier flights, both FSAcars and FSFK claimed that the UTC time got switched and tried to compensate for it. In one flight, FSFK overcompensate a bit too much... When I tried to submit my PIREP, FSFK claimed that my arrival time was before my departure and refused to send the PIREP! :x So I went and did a search and this is a known bug in FS. No suprise there. However, there is a solution to this problem! Dennis Thompson's TimeZone 3.0 is a free scenery add-on that corrects the timezone boundaries in FS9. I installed and I have not received a single complaint about UTC adjustments since then! Here is the link: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?Ca ... DLID=46692 As usual - use at your own risk but let me know if you tried it and if it works..."

"I have heard of that problem, but never had it myself. As far as fsfk goes, you can edit the times....."
