EHAM ROUTES

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Okay Ben- My plans come from Arinc Direct, a professional fllight planning system I use to send a Global Express, G-IV, and Falcon 200EX-Easy all over the world. Humor me by telling me A. why they are invalid and B. where you get your superior flight plans. I don't claim the plans I get are the best - but they are valid and are meant solely for those who want flight planning to be a little easier...on a personal note Ben- your comments in this forum over the past month about pilot id's on vatsim, my flight plans, and your snarky comment in your signature about our space program make you sound quite stressed for a guy of your age and aviation experience. This is supposed to be fun. Relax!"

"EHAM-EGPK is fairly simple, and just a difference between US and European way of doing things. It's just BERGI instead of AMGOD as BERGI is the SID terminator (BERGI UL602..) For EHAM-OMDB, you are using some high level restricted airspace over central Turkey, meaning the aircraft would have to be below FL285 for a few hundred miles. EHAM ARNEM UL620 CND UL851 TBN UP146 ARI UT30 DASIS UL223 LAM G666 DESDI OMDB negotiates this without any level restrictions, and also uses the correct arrival route from Iranian to UAE airspace to approach Dubai (must use the G666 airways between LAm and DESDI).

Both fail CFMU validation, so ARINC wouldn't in fact be able to file either of those as they would be rejected by the system."

"Few problems Ben - according to Jeppesen Middle East 1 and 2 charts, UT30 disregards ARI - then you get altitude restrictions near UL851 before Trabzon, TBN. UP146 doesn't even exist between TBN and ARI according to Jeppesen? I'm not saying you aren't correct, but Jeppesen charts are jiving with ya?"
