Computer Pilot Magazine Profile of GC in Nov 06 edition

Post by Covert53 »

"Globe Pilots, Just got my Computer Pilot Magazine in the mail today and lo and behold there is a very nice and lengthy article from our own Andrew Jones (1412). Lots of good press for the VA as well as the PMDG -400F. While the article is supposed to be a discussion on the freight oriented VAs it overwhelmingly covers Globe Cargo and all pics (of which there are many) are of Atlas/Polar colors. Way to go, Andrew."

"Rick, Could you send us a scan of this article? Would be great if you can send us this valuable publication. Thanks."

"Javier, I would love to help out but unfortunately I work for a prominent federal law enforcement agency in Washington, DC. And, my agency is responsible for investigating copyright and piracy crimes, so, needless to say, a cannot violate Computer Pilot Magazine's copyright protections. However, what I will do is reach out to the magazine and seek permission to reprint the article on the GC website. You may want to talk with Mr Jones and see if he has any rights to reprint his article here. Rick"

"Well thats a great ad for Computer Pilot magazine, you have to have a code to see the article though unless I am missing something?"

That's correct. Computer Pilot magazine provides little from their website except teases and dangles until you become a subscriber...and then the plus-up isn't all that great.

"Yes, I remember the subscription I had about a year ago. The magazine is nice, but not for what they are wanting $$$ for the subscription. They should drop it down, they would probably double their readers.."
