"Boy, that was sure strange... Saw alot of jet blast hit the water, so it looked like he went to a higher power setting, and it was still falling like a rock.... Hmmmmm, wonder if they will say anything about his beach patrolling? :)"

"Bryan, It looks like a Jump Jet, with the turbulence in the Water Directly underneath, probably too Low to adjust if he had a power loss, anyway I would imagine his Court Martial should be coming up soon ! Mike "

"Yeah, its definitely a Harrier, I do wonder what he was doing in such close proximety to a beach... Didn't look like an MOA to me :)"

"That is indeed an interesting video. Note that he's holding altitude no problem then almost simultaneously as he starts to drop you also see the jet blast on the water. Power surge associated w/ a compressor stall maybe? No idea why he was there, it didn't seem like he was performing in an airshow unless that was behind the camera."

"Yeah, looks like a surge to me too, don't think he would have time to think about throttles and punch out etc etc, your probably right. As for performing, I bet he was looking at something on the beach that was performing! :)"
