Open Board Flights - Callsigns -Flightnumbers

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Post by Wim Mourits »

"Hello Colleague's I'm just new in this VA and something is confusing to me 1) As newby i have to take flights from open board , no problem. In orer to test FSFK / template for this VA i booked a flight on open board. The fightnumber is EK9951 - EHAM-OMDB However the FSFK template requires default Flightnumbers format PO or 5Y What do in fill in now?? 2) What callsign do we use , the flightnumber?? If anyone can advise i would appreciate this, I want to make my first flight"

"Wim, to test FSFK you don't need to take a flight, just put pilot 5555 and start on a runway, move a few thousands of feet and then close the flight and then try to send the pireps. As far as PO or 5Y, use PO on all Polar flights (the ones listed as PO), everything else 5Y, EK etc... is Atlas hence 5Y. Then flight number in your case would be 9951. Hope that helps. :)"
