Routefinder is down not good for me.

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Routefinder is down not good for me.

"Man I have been waiting a couple of days now for Route Finder to come back so I can get a relatively decent flight plan from Shanghai to Baku (UBBB) worked out to continue my flight. I haven't had to make a flight plan out on FSNav in a few years with the advent of Route finder and I do not use FSBuild. I have one worked out to fly tomorrow but seems kinda out of the way the route I planned. But then again crossing China is never easy. Heres my route if anyone cares ZSPD VMB(SID) VMB R343 WHA W31 FLG W31 GAO W26 JTG B330 OMBON Y1 SADAN L888 KCA A468 KAMUD UB358 NS W75 SA G134 SW B363 TMD B370 URG A480 OTBOR B143E REGDI B449 DUKAN DILON UBBB Something like 3700 nautical miles Does anyone know of another flight planning site I could use? Also anyone know of any good free ware scenery that would add the second runway at Shanghai, I am using Jets and terminal 12 I believe and it only has the one runway."

"Mike, have not much of an idea, try this link. It will give you several sites to try. I have not been able to explore all of them, some are pay, some free, but see if you find something that might help. If you do, let us know ok? http://www.garmin-air-race.freeola.com/ ... ing/34.htm"

"Hey Mike, There is only one other program that I can recommend and that is VRoute! I always use RouteFinder as a primary source for Flight Plans, but since it has been down, I have been best buddies with VRoute! I notice that it does have ZSPD-UBBB in the database. It is slightly longer than your route, equaling out at about 3833NM, Highly Recommended: http://www.vroute.net Ross S"

"Mike, as for the good freeware scenery, I have found and used an excellent freeware scenery for ZSPD and a load of other chinese airports! The download is found at AVSIM here: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=86743 ZSPD is one of the 3D Airports and has all the Cargo Ramps modelled as per the Real World airport and great for us, it has Ramps 301-307! Also, as requested, it has Runways 17/35 and 16/34 :D Enjoy!"

"I only realised myself that there is only one r/way in FS9 at Shanghai, when I was on the App, so I had to fly a missed approach a come round again, bit of a downer that, you,d think they,d get the details correct, or at least update the s/ware when the omission becomes apparent, has anyone noticed if the missing r/way is included in FSX,? Mike "

"Thanks for all the tips and I have seen that scenery downloaded but not installed. My only hang-up in using it, was not knowing if one of the files would screw up another modified file in the scenery folder of the of the sim. So I may use this opportunity to try and create some flattens and exclude files and make the second runway at a later date. Toronto also came out with a missing runway. I just created the route and was right on track, for the most part, except maybe the last half dozen or so waypoints into Baku. but overall its a little longer 3812nm."
