Blue Angels

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Yeah, I do wish... but then again, I bet those Blue Angels Pilots see cops on TV chasing someone in a high speed chase and say "I wish I could do that.""

"Mike, I almost forgot, your pictures reminded me......Just a few days ago as I was motoring down the highway, I heard the massive powerful sound of multi radial engines overhead.... I whipped over and jumped out just in time to see a massive B-24 Liberator painted in desert camo at about 800 agl cruising directly overhead. Gotta love it when you are just in the right place at the right time!!!!!"

"Its great when that happens Bryan, we are on the App Path to EGCC when they are using 24r/24l via POL VOR "Pole Hill" and when i,m out with the Dog in the early morning in the fields you see the overnight Transantlatic Flights on on app at about 5000 agl, on a clear blue sky when the 744 goes over its a nice sight, we also occasionally get Apache Gunships over the House at a about 200ft agl and those babies make the windows shake I can tell you! Mike "

"That sounds neat, I bet it is a neat sight. Unfortunately KTUL here doesn't have too many heavys coming in. Only occasionaly do they make it our way and usually it is a special hop, or someone doing touch and gos. I have seen the airborne command post (747) doing touch and gos here, though I am sure it's not the "on-duty" aircraft."
