Failure Sending Pirep
"Anybody else having trouble sending their Pireps? before I start checking through FSFK settings, which appear to be correct ! "

By the way, when you can't send a PIREP, just save it and you will be able to resend it the next day when the problem is gone.

I,ve re-installed everything inc the new Templates, just wondering if the Cache File on the Webpage is full again? Mike"
"I just sent a sample flight up to the website without any problems. The new site doesn't have the same space issues as the old one so that wouldn't be it. If you could email me you VA and Web templates, I could have a look to make sure the settings are correct. Also, make sure that the pilot number/passwords didn't somehow get cleared..."

"I've had no issues sending PIREPS, in fact, I had to make a one-day date change to one of my recent flights and was able resend it, which created another PIREP... (I was a little surprized about) and now need to get the bad one removed.. I emailed a request to have that done and the email to NSA management didn't get through. The error message I keep getting is shown below... anyone know what address I should use? I already tried the ".com" version without success as well. Reporting-MTA: dns; comcast.net Arrival-Date: 8 Jul 2007 16:21:55 +0000 Final-Recipient: rfc822; nsa@globecargova.org Action: failed Status: 4.4.7 Unable to contact host for 2 days, Diagnostic-Code: smtp; Persistent Transient Failure: Delivery time expired Last-Attempt-Date: 8 Jul 2007 16:21:55 +0000 ...help correct my PIREP list, I've got one tooo many.

The problem was a "rogue entry" that was showing in the Logbook but not in the Reports, so when I attempted to send, there was nothing in the report file concerning that flight hence the error message, the trouble was, in the error message there was no details of the error so it was a matter of elimination until I found it, just a bit of info for future reference"Brogs" wrote:Anybody else having trouble sending their Pireps? before I start checking through FSFK settings, which appear to be correct !
