Night Flight

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Craig, I would have really liked to join you on that, in fact I was trying to find a way to do it, but I had real world junk pressing in. Justin and I did this a few weeks ago and had a blast. It makes it really fun when you have someone flying along."

"I also would have liked to join you Craig, unfortunately I've got to go fly a CRJ :( I'll be available for a flight possibly tomorrow around 1600z and will be a DHL flight because I have just a few hours. Otherwise I think I will do a polar open-board or atlas charter on wednesday if anyone is available. Anyone else who would like to make a post like this please do. It really is more fun to chat with one of your fellow GC pilots on the flights. We are looking into adding a calendar to the main website to post flights like this and also for posting GC events. I made that flight with Craig last night. KORD-KMIA. It was fun and we had ATC for most of the flight. And we stayed in visual contact the whole flight. I'm looking forward to more of these flights!

Yes I would be interested too! provided it is not too much in the middle of the night for me in Europe. Could someone explain how we can be on VATSIM and Teamspeak at the same time ? probably very simple but I have never done it. Luc

"Luc, I beleive all you need to be on TS and Vatsim at the same time, is to assign a different ptp (push to talk) for each. You just need to remember who you are talking to at the time...."

"I finally broke down and got my VATSIM registration, and my squawkbox downloaded. I did this years ago but never did follow through and actually go on line. Soooo, as soon as I can, I'll be the one sitting on the ramp listening. LOL I flew for years so I hope it's not too much different from listening to real ATC."

"How about the upcoming (Nov. 3rd) VATSIM fly-in at PHNL?? :D I believe it is a Cargo Extravaganza.. 8) Granted PHNL in a long way from anywhere, we can all approach from different cities, converging on PHNL... -or- Depart PHNL enmass to all points... -or- BOTH  PAC and GTI flights a plenty. :P I've already signed-up. You can too, go here to read about the event: http://www.freewebs.com/hcfevents/cargoextravaganza.htm at the bottom there are links to charts for PHNL and a "here" link to register."

"Thomas, that link didn't post and I am having a problem finding the site... I think Justin posted something on this, I'll go have a look at his post. If it's a fly-in during the evening, I can, but otherwise, I work that day from 1300Z to 2100Z. Here, try this link instead... http://www.freewebs.com/hcfevents/pilotregistration.htm"
