Ok, good deal. Sorry again for this mess but at least we are on a stable server now so I hope those with the missing hours sees it as being worth itPKlijnstra wrote:Thanks Justin but I've just uploaded all the flights again. I'm up to date again

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but. Many of my flights have also been deleted, about 80 of them.
I've started re-uploading my flights but wonder if all the activty to fix/reload/update the data base has been completed. ... and are we now left with the list as we see it (11/20/2007)?
I can re-send all of my 80 or so flights, but I don't want to do that (will take hours) only to find that an updated data base is already in the works. Somehwere in the forum I read that there is good data thru August 15th but not any since that time... Am I remembering that right? My flights where lost starting at the end of April, 07... I since resent my flights for May and June (last night) I wondered if I was wasting my time.
I assume all new flights are being recoreded/saved.
Let us know if/when we should all be re-sending our lost FSFK pireps..
Thanks,

Thanks,
I utilize FSFK and noticed missing hours. Should I resend the PIREPS from August 14th until current?nwadc10 wrote:Yes, this is because of corrupted data our old server gave us. It looks like it has only affected FSFK pireps at this point. I had printed a roster on August 14th 2007. I can credit your hours to that day and if you can resend your pireps from Aug 15 to present, you should be back up to your current hours. This goes for anyone with missing hours just let me know if you want me to credit your hours to what you had on August 14th so you don't have to resend many months worth of flights.PKlijnstra wrote:I've lost 6 months of pireps and flights according to my roster . I'm down from 239 to 101 hours. All flights between april 19th and october 12th are gone. Any thoughts on that or should I re-send all those flights? I think it has to do with the change over to the new server?
From the way I understand, since the last of April until now, all FSFK flights only have been affected. A screenshot exists of the Roster up until August. I don't know anything about data saved until august. I had the impression that only the number of hours you had up to the August date could be updated, not the actual flight?
I think I had an April flight still on the roster, but after around the 19th up to now, they all disappeared, and that is what I understand has been the issue with everyone else on FSFK.

All FSFK data between April and present (when we moved to the new server) was lost and is not recoverable. I do have a printout of the roster dated August 14th of this year. What I will do is credit in one fake pirep to each pilot the number of hours required to match how many hours you had on August 14th. For flights after August 14th, please resubmit your pireps via FSFK and if you have those your current flight time will be reflected properly/accurately. From here on out it's operations normal as pireps sent in now are logging properly.radarb8 wrote:Not sure if this is the place to ask, but. Thanks,
For those posted here requesting hours credits, I'll get to work on that now and will PM you when it's complete for your account.
Thanks for your patience and understanding everyone!

Ya, it's as simple as terminology. Block time is from (in our case) brakes release to brakes set, or block out to block in. This includes taxi time on both ends of the flight. Flight time is from wheels off to wheels on, or Off and On times...that portion of the flight in which the airplane is actually airborne. Your hours are credited by block time (the larger of the two) and the flight time is just there for your enjoyment.ubrownjr wrote:I reposted my PIREPS completed after August 14th and see a discrepancy between FSFK and the website. FSFK shows flight time as 741:22 and block time as 789:12 and total mileage as 345164.
Anyone know why the discrepancy?
