This is my first post to the GC Forum. I've only been here a year!! I have been following this thread and I see Vista mentioned, but, I see no mention of FSX. Will GCP work with FSX? I had a computer meltdown and lost my PMDG for FS2004 along with FSFK. I have purchased the new Queen of the Sky for FSX and made my first flight with GCP and couldn't get it to load. So, my question is this: does GCP work with FSX? Thanks, I love this airline, please help me keep flying here!

Update on GCP: Thanks to Bozhan for testing, I made a new installer that fixes the problem for XP users. Tested the installer on Vista and it does not work. After some research I found a better installer tool that is compatible with Vista. I see in the documentation for that tool that for Vista installations the installer itself has to be granted admin access to Vista which this tool provides. The down side is that this new tool is not as simple as the old tool in that I have to write a script for the files to be installed. A few days I'll need to complete that and hopefully someone with Vista will be able to test it.

Yes GCP does work with FSX although not as thoroughly tested as FS9. I have done a few flights in FSX and all functions tested worked the same as FS9. Michel did notice that with the 744X the fuel functions are wrong and I suspect that PMDG is using an additional fuel tank in the 744X that was not available in FS9 (FS9 limitation). I do not have 744X so I need someone to help troublshoot that issue before I can fix it.

Hello fellow pilots,A few days I'll need to complete that and hopefully someone with Vista will be able to test it.
Since this is my first post in this forum, I would like to let you know that I 'm very proud of being a member of Globe Cargo.
I expect to install FSX & PMDG747X under Vista in a few days, therefore I will be able to test the combination Vista-GCP-FSX.
I just hope not to have many comments on it!
Currently, GCP does not work in Vista for me due to the "administration rights" problem already mentioned.
