Bidding For Flights

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Bidding For Flights

Post by Redhmt »

Hi All, I notice the bid page is active now, what happens if I cannot bid at the time it says on bid page, as it is at moment I will be at work as it looks like I get a 1 hour window to put in my bid, or am I completely missing something?

Thanks

From my experience, that is the time the window opens, and the next clock is the specific time the window opens for the person below you in seniority. I believe you get 2 to 3 days to place your bids. However if you take a while, fewer flights may be available.

Phil, the time specified is only when you are open to bid. You remain able to place the bid for 2 to 3 days as Kevin stated. The flights are plentiful though, you won't lose out just because of your seniority.
