How long should it take to get a flight posted? In looking at my Record, I see my KSUU-PHNL from last month is there, but the flight I did yesterday (DHX708) KILN-KSHV is not. Thanks

This flight is still showing in progress. Perhaps you mistakenly didnt send the PIREP?

Well, I THOUGHT I did.....everything seemed OK. So what Now?? Obviously we ain't in flight.

Before I can reset the flight, Tomas needs to look at this to make sure his pirep program is configured correctly. In the recent past I have reset the flights and it hinders Tomas' ability to check it out. So lets let him see all this first.

You filed the flight with an empty flight number. Not sure how you managed to do that but no wonder the site couldn't match the PIREP to the flights!

Thomas: Well, I am now totally cofused. First, I DID have a Flight Number in there, it was DHX708, I clearly remember seeing it when I started FSACARS. I also very clearly remember ending the flight, parking the bird, shutting down, and the stopping FS Acars. Now, is my system bad ( a VERY real possibility), or what?? At any rate, I would like to get credit for DHX708, and I'll try and get another short flight in so I can try it again.

In Addition, DHX708 STILL shows in progress, which prevents me from choosing another flight.

Please, some help here. As stated, the FSACARS is STILL running on the KILN-KSHV I flew like 3 days ago. That effectively blocks me from doing any more flying. Isn't there someone out there who can "End" this????? I don't CARE if I loose DHX708, I can do it again, but I can't do ANYTHING as long as this thing is running.

Please, anyone???

I have marked the flight as completed on the board. I as mentioned earlier, your PIREP didn't have the flight number included and therefore the system couldn't end the flight properly. Your hours have been logged in the system however.

I do not understands what you mean with "the FSACARS is STILL running on the KILN-KSHV". If you are referring to the DHL flight board on the site, that has nothing to do with the client PIREP software but simply states what our system thinks is the status of the flights. Once the system receives a proper PIREP, it can change the status accordingly. Since your PIREP wasn't complete, the system didn't have enough information to finish the flight!

Based on your postings I assume that you use FSACARS as your PIREP client?! As you might have read on these forums, we no longer provide support for FSACARS although we will be accepting the PIREPs it send over as long as people are using it. Feel free to download GCP which is free and we fully support since it was developed in-house. Or you can use FS Flightkeeper which is a robust commercial product.
