Ok, your not going to believe this one... As most of you know, I had to go to a new machine. With that move, I lost my 744F addition to PMDG. Bear in mind, I purchased the 744, then purchased the 744F and provided proof of both purchases. This is the e mail I received from them today...
Bryan,
PMDG has traditionally provided redownload of user purchases at no cost, however the popularity of our products combined with the rapid increase in demand for re-downloads has made it necessary to amend our re-download policy.
In order to research and provide you with a new download of this product, PMDG now require that customers purchase a €3.95 per year Extended Download Service for each product redownloaded.
Extended Download Service provides you with up to 12 months of additional access from the date of purchase of the Extended Download Service.
To purchase, please go to www.precisionmanuals.com and follow the links to eCommerce then Extended Download Service. Purchase one service for each product that you desire to redownload and when finished, send us an email to this address and we will authorize the downloads for you. The Extended Download Service will be annotated in your customer account, so there is no record keeping required on your end.

Re: PMDG
Yup Brian
That has been there for a while unfortunately. I got it when I had a complete reinstall after my upgrade.
That's called Progress.....I think.

Re: PMDG
what i did was take the exe files i downloaded, and burnt them into a cd. i do this with every addon where the cd version is not available. if not youre ganna have to bite the bullet and pay i think it equals out to 12 dollars for the extended download service for the 747 and 747F.
Re: PMDG
Its an F-ing rip off is what it is. You pay $60, you should get downloads for life and a car wash for God sake. Even more for the 747X. I spent $80 on that bugger. This seems to me like a way for PMDG to line their pockets with even more money (lest we forget the while Euro thing. -THEIR AN AMERICAN COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-). I learned my lesson, and saved them all to a 1gb flash drive (which I cannot seem to locate right away.... )
