Apart from the response I made in the "A New DHLVA" post, I'm assuming this VA will no longer take on new members as per main page indication. Pity.

Fred, we do take on members. We have to regulate it or the HR guys go crazy and our mental health benefits have ran out on Ross!

Check with Ross Spargo or Justin and they can give you a better idea. Don't be frustrated by our membership being closed right now.

Oh!!, no frustration here

Just looking at joining a Cargo VA. Have flown well over a 1000 vhrs flying the passenger liners over 360 vhrs online with VATSIM and some 200vhrs with the LevelD B763ER. So a nice change is warranted. Of course the more realistic, the better.

We like to keep our roster at about 100 pilots give or take. Since we started as Virtual Atlas Air 4 years ago one of our core values to the operation of the VA is quality over quantity with regards to pilots. Every now and then we close apps for at least one month to "cleans" our roster and bring it back down to around 100 pilots. We will accept apps again in the not too distant future so don't worry. A date to reopen has not been set as of yet.

Once we re-open applications, I will send you an email to inform you of the changes and you may then apply on the main website.

The applications were open for a while and then closed again a week or so ago. Did you miss it? Please send an email to hr@globecargova.org and we will let you now when the apps are open again.
