Re: Longest flight?
Darrell,
I assume that you're getting that figure from a real world document. Does it state a MLF at the destiane, or an absolute minimum MLF?

Re: Longest flight?
Darrell and I work for the real company and he is correct on the landing fuel. The real ATLAS/POLAR co min landing fuel is 10.5 kgs at destination and 7.0 at alternate. Our globe manual does not state this anywhere as of yet.
Re: Longest flight?
All I know is my wife usually parks the car when the low fuel light comes on and I am always the next person to get in that vehicle!!! Maybe I need to set some minimums for her landings too!!!
Re: Longest flight?
I hadn't realized there isn't a minimum landing fuel in the PM. I was sure there was but after looking you are correct. It will be added in the next version.

So I guess from my flight, I left the jet with the low fuel warning light on. oppps.

Re: Longest flight?
So thats why I keep getting all of these screwed up panel saves .
Luckily the LDS 763 ground crew can fix the aircraft before I fly it .

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated
However, I'm a little confused now
Considering that there is only 14.3t of weight difference between the MZFW and MLW, I wonder how do you guys manage doing flights at MZFW..
I guess the MLF doesn't necessarily to be added on top of the legal requirements.. I mean it's a minimum fuel figure of your own company and it could be included in the Alternate and contingency fuel, am I right?
I'm trying to get a hold of this fuel planning thing but I'm at a loss now..
Thank you.
Edit: Grammar
Re: Longest flight?
If all else fails... Go back to the pilot roster. Take a similar flight from someone else, check their block fuel and see if it is even close to yours. That is a wayyy out way to guess, but as long as winds are not catostrophically different, you'll be close and won't have to worry...
