Reality XP Radar

I added Reality XP weather radar to the PMDG fleet today - so far not impressed - a few ground returns. Any one else have it?

Use your tilt. I have it and it works pretty well, as well as FS will allow it to anyhow.

I,ve had it for a while and have no complaints, you only get the benefit climbing or descending or as Allan says using the Tilt

I've had it for a few years now. It's the best FS radar you will find, good buy. I've had some issues trying to reinstall it so I haven't been using it lately but need to figure out what's wrong with it. It's been a while since I worked on it and I don't recall what the issue is specifically.

Keep playing with it and you will come to enjoy it. The tilt makes a huge difference and of course you need to have some wx around or you will just get ground returns. Most of the time tho you don't even need to turn radar on. Real world flying I don't think I've had a flight in the last few weeks where we turned the radar on.

I sure do like it! But like everyone has said, it helps to have some weather around before it will pick up any weather.
