PMDG 747-400 Cockpit mods.

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Leo,

I just wanted to thank you for all of your efforts with the mod thus far. I use the Matrox Triple-Head 2GO system with three monitors and use of the VC panel. If there is anything I can do to assist with the VC mod, please advise.

Thanks again.

Thanks Les,

I am looking into the VC mod right at this moment, and so far it looks like the mod can be done with a couple of simple changes to the panel.cfg like i did for the 2D view.

I will keep you updated :)

BTW Les, as i work on this i will add the panel.cfg here if i manage to impliment the mods into the VC, it would be great if you could try them out and tell me how they work out for you in the VC!

My first update is not a very good one sadly,

I have tried 3-4 Panel.cfg modifications and started them up using my Virtual Cockpit. The digital ISDF actually stopped loading, but the original texture of the 74F is still present in the VC.

One of the mods even caused a crash to desktop being caused by a PMDG main.gauge error.

Sadly it seems that that what is openly available to be edited in the PMDG 744 files is not all that what must be edited in order to impliment these changes fully.

I will try to go as far as i can in finding a solution but at the moment it does not look as good as i thought it would be.

Even if you alias the panel to the main 747-400, the LCD frames remain the same.

This has nothing to do with textures, it's coding, we can't do anything to change it. Unfortunately.

For a minute, I was hopeful a VC solution had been found.
