bids not open??

When I try to bid on next months flights I get this message come up...

The bid process is not running.
Try again later.

is there something wrong??

Hmmm... I just bid - no issues. Try to clear your cache on the browser maybe?

I looked at the bid page and it looks like most pilots have bid without any problems. Try to shift-click to refresh the page. Log out of the site and log back in. Clear the cache in your browser. If that still doesn't work, go to the bid page and copy&paste the URL to a reply here and I will have a look to see what is going on.

Hi,

the same problem with me. I get this link <http://www.globecargova.org/Polar/pilot_bid.php> when clicking FlightOps > Polar Air > Bid Form. And I use Firefox. I´ve allready tried all mentioned above. Something to do with seniority?

I clear my cache and refresh the site any times , link: http://www.globecargova.org/Polar/pilot_bid.php , Firefox 3.05 or IE 7 - no change!

Chris, could you please use your full name in the signature? We've had a couple of Chris joining lately - besides it is the forum policy to use the full name. If you joined after the bids started then you will not be able to bid this month. Just pick a charter or a flight from the Open Board and fly that. You will be included in the bids for February.

Volker, you are listed on the roster as being on Extended LOA. Any pilot on LOA is not included in the bidding process. If you are back to active status, you need to inform your RM or HR. Again, if you wish to fly, just get a flight from the Open Board or charter.

Oh and Ed... Same issue for you... You are still listed as LOA in the system. I see a note that you went back to Active last month but the flag didn't get cleared in your file so you were not included in the bid...

As a side note, this bid was the first time that I actually got an email that the bid was running for the month.

Chris,

you joined the 16th this month so you can't bid on a flight yet I guess. You can only fly open board flights or Atlas flights for this coming month.
