Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Hi guys! I was just looking for the MK airlines page, as I found an article about 747 crash at halifax intl. two weeks ago. In europe it wasn't in the news, so it is completely new to me. Must have been a big accident, because all seven crew members were killed. http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2004 ... cp.html Maybe some of you could tell me details or new results about the accident! They are still investigating. A witness said that the tail scrapped the runway just before they whent airbone for a few feet. Some say it might be cargo that shifted but nobody knows.

"I too am wondering why there is nothing on the news about it here in Europe?! Usually such crashes make the news immediately. Of course, it was a cargo plane...Could that perhaps be it? Cargo is not interesting, but if it were a fully loaded passenger plane, I bet it would've made the news all over the world!"

Nevertheless, if in the knews we knew that the bird stopped in Halifax for refueling and loading seafood, we never had any chance to see apicture on TV. Also from a personal stand point, and as a real kife corporate airline captain, it is good somewhere, lake of knews I mean. Cause mostly when a tragedy like this appear in the world tons of reporters usualy claim to identify the cause of the crash way before the NTSB or equivalent can even have a clue of what happened. Of course, that does not prevent me to have my personal opinion, but officialy I have no comment till the report is done. After, it is always very important to speak about it and to debate, from a CRM standpoint to prevent this to happen again. Cyrille"
