X - Plane Airliner for iPod Touch

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Now if only they'd make an Atlas & Polar 744F :D

What a neat little program!

Justin you think GCP will work with this?

I'm having way too much fun flying two 747's at the same time. and it ain't even Christmas.

Glad you mentioned X-Plane Ken ;) I've been thinking about giving it a try since my pal showed me this video. This simulator seems to be so realistic that it's unbelievable!

Ralf, I've often thought about trying it too - just couldn't find any 747's for it.

Ralf, just buy Active Sky and check the boxe that says Wake Turbulance...you'll have your hands full.

I think I'd take the wake turbulence over the "and here I am plowing through speedbird" thing...

Apparently it's not working in FS at all. I've got AS and everything set as real as it gets but have never experienced anything abnormal apart from some really weird wind 'hits' from one side when on finals. It's happened twice so far and on both occasions the 'hit' was so strong that it 1. disconnected my AP 2. knocked me off the path by more than 3 dots :D
Anyway, X-Plane has so many options and simulates so many things that I think it's worth trying. My friend is currently testing it so I should have some feedback when I get back home.
