Another hiring question

"Greetings, As a long-time RFP owner, I was delighted to discover that Ralph & friends have started a VA specifically to make use of the 747-200. I shall be ready to apply the moment hiring opens again on the 25th. My question: Assuming I meet all qualifications to be hired, will I have to wait for the next bid cycle in December to actually start flying, or will something be available sooner?
