What disturbed me the most, besides the ability to fly an hour without radio contact and not thinking anything of it. is the fact that the military was never thought of or contacted for one hour. My god this could have been, thank goodness it was not, another 9-11. Chicago approx 300miles away let alone MSP. i am sure a pair of F15 or F-16 would have got there attention to get back to work. How lack of a country we are becoming again. Time to watch out.
I want to hear from the FAA why they still refuse to change. I am in Airport security and fire and this should be scrutinized as much by the press as the pilots in this.
