RFP 742 load utility?
Anyone know where I can dl this utility? Thanks.
Re: RFP 742 load utility?
Shoot me a PM with your email.
ETA: The cargo loader doesn't work "out of the box" with the Titan repaints (742 and 743). You'll need to do some editing to the Titan aircraft.cfg file to get it to work.

Can you spell out exactly what you did and maybe we can include this with the installation instructions?hawkeyeted wrote:Shoot me a PM with your email.

Re: RFP 742 load utility?
For some reason, the loader won't work with the [fltsim.xx] entry provided with the Titan .zip file. The loader faults with a warning that the loader only works with "VMAX RFP 747-200 Classic".mlegein wrote:Can you spell out exactly what you did and maybe we can include this with the installation instructions?
What I did was copy>paste from a working Polar VMAX entry, and edited the title and texture to recognize the Titan and everything worked after that. (I don't have the exact entry in front of me. It's on my home machine.)
It wasn't difficult to get working. If you've got experience editing aircraft.cfg files, it's a breeze.
Re: RFP 742 load utility?
The fix is very simple: open the aircraft.cfg file, scroll down a few lines until you find: ui_type=747-300 SF . Delete or select over the line and replace with 747-200F ( no space between the 200 and the 'F'). For the 200 model you scroll down to the same entry and delete the space between 200 and F. The correct entry reades: ui_type=747-200F for both the 300 and 200 models. That's all you have to change .

Thanks Jay. I knew there was some data point that the loader was looking at.jacques wrote: ui_type=747-300 SF . Delete or select over the line and replace with ui_type=747-200F. That's all you have to change .
