Did I Select That Flight?
I have noticed on a couple of occasions that when I go to the open board I am already signed up for a flight that I never selected. The last one I went ahead and flew anyway, but I'm wondering if this is normal.
Re: Did I Select That Flight?
Hmmm... There shouldn't be an auto-assignment or anything like that for the Open Board flights. That is simply a list of flights for the next two days that no one bid on. Next time you go in there and see your name without having explicitely bid on the flight, please send me a note and I will look into it. Under no circumstances should you feel obligated to fly a flight that you didn't explicitely book. (With the sole exception of the auto-bid flights in the case where you didn't bid during the normal bidding process...)
Re: Did I Select That Flight?
Thanks for the reply Tomas. I will plan to go ahead and fly the one on the list for now and see what happens after that. It may take a day or two since I've developed some sort of problem with the WideFS link between my two PC's.
Re: Did I Select That Flight?
I have completed the second of these flights (ELLX-KHSV), but it still shows on the board. Could it be because Ralf has reinstated me to my previous pilot number (1422) and maybe this flight was booked under my temporary pilot number (2207)?? Either way, I don't want you guys to think I'm just sitting on the flight.
