Since we are introducing pax operations in April and given the surplus of FO's, we are introducing a new GC rank, i.e. Flight Attendants. We have decided, effective from 0000Z tonight, to take the bottom 1/3 of the FO's and make them FA's until we can promote some FO's to Captain to make room.
Flight Attendants will be pulled from the monthly bid system and MUST fly at least 1 pax flight per month before they can fly any other flights.

I belong to a rather large and lively passenger VA, the only reason I joined here was
to fly CARGO. Further, foisting this demotion on people after they joined is completely
unprofessional.
Did any of you consider the fact that "flight attendants" are the ones in the cabin
serving coffee, tea, and peanuts?
Please reconsider or I shall go spend my flying time elsewhere, and I doubt
my feelings are going to be unique in this issue.
