Well once again, I had another FS crash while participating in a GCVA event. I blame Ken because he's always nearby when this happens. :) It was all going swimmingly for a great while. My first experience having Tokyo and Anchorage Radio up for a pacific crossing and they did quite well making the trip a lot of fun. I chose to use RFP for this one and had a hoot, right up until I was handed off to ANC_TWR at which point FS puked on me. Knowing i had quite a bit of traffic behind me and potential autosave panel state/INS issues, I aborted permanently right then and there. As you can see we had a pretty good crowd for the crossing and most everyone was up on their oceanic procedures.

thanks guys for not gettin a shot of me getting lost on my way to "company parking"!!!!
not sure why SB4 is missing atlas colours for the 400BCF?
this was only my fourth flight using full voice and my first ever online event but had a great time once i got over the nerves of oceanic clearances and position reports
And to top it all off my first online parallel approach and landing!!

looking forward to the next event!!

Also maybe i should make this a new thread somewhere else but where do i find the details of the GIRAF1 dep from RJAA as both sets of charts i have dont seem to have any mention of GIRAF1 departure.

regards terry

Well done Terry. The first time online and with oceanic procedures can be quite nerve racking. Maybe well see each other at the next event.

Terry check the event announcement thread, I posted a link to current RJAA charts that might still be alive.
