Just introducing myself...

Good Evening!

Just stopping by before I hit the sheets (it is 11:30pm as of this writing) to introduce myself. My name is Michael Brown. I am a 32 year old aviation enthusiast. I'm married with two young sons. I am also a real world private pilot. I live in the SoCal area and rent my Cessna 172's from AFI out of Fullerton Airport. I have been doing the virtual flying bit for a long, long time. I still remember playing with Flight Simulator when the screens were green and MSFS still had the WWI flying combat area! I am also a member of another virtual airline....yikes!....is that ok with you guys?! ....its Delta Virtual Airlines. I'm DVA3196 over there and a Captain in the MD-11. I have been with them for over four years. I also fly online. I have well north of 1000 hours on VATSIM (#843393).

So why did I come here? Well, being in love with aviation means I have ridiculous amounts of aviation videos!...lol. One of the videos I have is from Worldairroutes.com and features Atlas Air 747's. After doing passenger operations with Delta Virtual this long I wanted something a little different, a change of scenery. I thought of that video of Atlas Air and googled around a bit to see if there was a virtual airline that centered around Atlas and guess what??.....there is! And here I am.

Well, I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I have some reading to do, a Atals test to take, and a first flight to fly! I need my rest!

Hi Micheal, welcome aboard. Hope you like it here. No problem about the other va as far as i know. I'm a member of delta va too, dva2801, for about four years now too just like here. I'm a virtual captain on the b744 on both va's

Hi Michael,
Nice to have you as a new member of Globe Cargo. I too am a member of Delta Virtual (DVA 3572).....over 600 flights there but got tired of the KATL airport and VATSIM. I like the challenge of long hauls here all over the world in the PMDG 744F's. Recently added the LCF version which is interesting also.
Hope you enjoy flying here and if you need any help with anything....don't hesitate to ask.
