Thanks Terry
There seems to be a completely different setup in W7.....as far as I can see, a bit wierd until I can get used to it.
I'll try again

Re: FS9.cfg and FSX.cfg in Windows 7
And try this for FSX
C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
An easy way to access without hiding folders is to type this in the address bar:
"%appdata%\Microsoft\FSX"
and for FS9
"%appdata%\Microsoft\FS9"
After you hit enter, you will see fsx/FS9.cfg in there.
hope it helps

Re: FS9.cfg and FSX.cfg in Windows 7
Thanks again Terry
Now I can't find the old "Run" box to put that into, - however, after some searching I found them.
For others who might need it, they are in, - at least on my system:
C\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\fs9\fs9.cfg and
C\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\fsX\fsX.cfg
Obviously your own user names or whateverr will be in there rather than "User"
I am going to make the changes as suggested by the Tips and Tricks from the ORBX scenery installers.
