Terry,
Very impressive the 747-200 into LOWI. Reminds me of the time I landed a Lear on the deck of a carrier in an earlier version of FS, geez it was probably FS 4 or, even FS 5 (whichever one first allowed a carrier landing)
I had no idea you were taking snaps on the taxiway...guess I came out okay then? Thanks for dropping in and ratcheting up the pressure.. that was fun!! And how do you load the Titan livery into SB4?

Great shots Terry
Tsk Tsk Jay, spoilers still extended
If anyone is thinking of some flying in Australia with FS9, may I suggest the scenery from Vista Australia. The complete and final version 1.8 is available from....
http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/43719
These are the people who now make the ORBX FTX Sceneries for FSX. There is the whole of Australia in 4 parts plus a lot of individual airports. They also have some North America scenery, mainly along the west coast and some special things for visual flyers. I am biased I suppose but I reckon they have the best quality scenery anywhere. They can be found here.....
http://fullterrain.com/
There was a link to the Vista site on here somewhere but I can't find it now. I think the vista Australia site has been shut down.
This FSX scenery is mostly paywhere and well worth it, but they do have some freebies, - check the site.
Both the FS9 and FSX sceneries are made for visual flying down lower than we operate but the details on and around the major airports are a great inprovement on the origional sceneries.
A couple of shots....
Perth with Vista on......
Rockhampton Qld. with "My" King Air ready to go

Re: TTN2177 in YPPH
Well, I'm glad that Terry owned up to that . But then, thats me floating down nearly half the available tarmac . Not pretty, but I managed to get her shut down just before the last turnoff ! John, I was looking into some aussie scenery and remembered that there was a post about that somewhere in here. So thanks for refreshing that bit of info. I agree that FS doesn't really do justice to Australia. Hope you've finally got all the bugs worked out so you can join us on some flights!! Looking forward to the video, Terry!

Re: TTN2177 in YPPH
My appologies Jay.
Was that Rway 24 you were using? That is fairly restricted for weights as it isn't very long. Even the 737s have restrictions there.
03/21 is used for the bigger stuff. I don't know why that is the designation for that Rway as the courses are 016 and 196 ??

Re: TTN2177 in YPPH
That was runway 06. The aircraft was LVL D 767. I was a bit nervous about being able to shut her down in time, but it worked out okay. That runway was necessary due to the prevailing winds. I believe 090 and 29 kts gusting to 34 at the time.
Seemed like a bit of a stretch to try and land on 03 given the potential wind.

Re: TTN2177 in YPPH
It's been 196 016 for as long as I have known it, here are the charts
All information for Australian airports is here.
http://www.airservices.gov.au/publicati ... rtsTOC.htm
I notice the inbound courses in FS Commander are 187/242/007 Quite wrong.
