Hi All,
Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself to my new employers and fellow colleagues. My name is Lee Holland, I am 30 years old, and I live in Coventry, England. I am married and I am a father to two lovely children with another one on the way.
After joining Globe Cargo at the end of March, I have spent the majority of April flying the ANC-HKG-ANC sector, logging just under 100 hours so far.
Prior to joining Globe Cargo, I was a Senior Captain at British Airways Virtual on the 757/767 fleet, logging just over 2000 hours on type in total. Whilst in employment with this fine VA, I was successful enough to hold the position of Training Captain on the aforementioned fleet which was a real honour and something I thoroughly enjoyed.
Having said that, I am very much enjoying my new job here flying the 747-400F, and I look forward to spending many a happy hour flying freight around the world for our virtual Customers.
Kind Regards,
Lee Holland.

Re: Another new Pilot
Hi Lee,
Congrats on your impending arrival, long left in the 'holding pattern' ?
I'm a fellow Brit (from Kent) and thoroughly enjoying flying for this VA, only been here a couple of days but very impressed. Not sure how Mrs C is taking me doing the long hauls...I did offer to let her do my checklists but she muttered something and left the room...

Hi Colin,
I know exactly what you mean. Mine didnt seem too impressed either when I "dinged" the no smoking sign a couple of times and asked her for a coffee earlier on, lol. Glad your enjoying your employment with Globe Cargo though. Before my kids came along, I used to fly on VATSIM pretty much exclusively. However, as you probably know yourself, they are not the most accomodating when it comes to wanting a bit of peace and quiet in order to concentrate on the RT, so im flying offline for now. Will get back online soon though with a bit of luck.
Regards,
Lee.

Welcome Lee
I seem to remember you from BAV although it is some years since I was there.
I'm sure you will enjoy it here at Globe.
