GPC for first flight

When I bring up the GCP to do my first flight I get a MSG that I need to initialize the GCP but when I do that I am still not given access to the GCP.
Help so I can get started!!!

I assume that when you say you have initilized that you inserted all of the required fields on the Settings page? That should have done it.

Yes I have filled all spaces and I get a MSG access denined can not find path to GVA

Do you have any form of Firewall turned on? If you are getting an Access Denied than there is either a problem with your login credentials or it is having problems accessing the GCVA server to verify those credentials, which could either be a firewall issue or a GCVA server issue.

This problem has been seen before. Windows permissions is the issue specifically in regard to certain folders. First make sure you are running GCP as administrator. Right click on the GCP icon, go to Properties. Select the Compatibility tab, at the bottom click the button labelled "Change settings for all users". Check the box labelled "Run this program as an administrator" at the bottom. Click OK or Apply on all boxes until they are all closed. Try running GCP. If error still occurs we need to dig deeper into folders permissions which I'd like to do either on TeamSpeak or at least on MSN/WL Messenger for real time troubleshooting. I've been able to solve this problem in the past but it was some time ago so I don't recall exactly which options need to be checked in certain folders hence I'd like "face to face" interaction to solve it quickly.
