AF447 - terrible reading

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

What a lesson! A lot to learn from this tragedy.

Best wishes,

Got that right Luc, what surprises me is why the Captain took so long to return to the Cockpit, probably thought that as it was Fly by Wire that the FMC would sort it out , but even so ? I remember watching a Doc a couple of years ago on the Airbus, and the pilot pulled the Control Handle as far back as he could in an attempt to Stall the Aeroplane, and the voice over said at the time that it was impossible to Stall as the FMC would always take over and correct the Pitch, but Alternate Law was never mentioned and probably wasn,t within the minds of the Pilots. Perhaps that,s a matter that could be addressed, to have something that could warn the Pilots that all bets were off as it were and the Aeroplane could Stall. Hopefully it will never happen again, one of those unique set of cicumstances that wasn,t envisioned, but thats not much comfort to the Bereaved Families. :(
