I have been on an extended LOA and just did my first flight a few days ago. Subsequently I received an email with this message:
Subject Flight Reset
Automated reset of flight TTN6106
Accummulated points: 2
Could someone clarify what this means?
Thanks

Re: Meaning of this message
It looks like the board didn't count your flight and it reset the flight back onto the board because it thinks you didn't do the flight at all (you must complete a flight within 48 hours of selecting it on the board). Subsequently, if you don't complete a flight you accrue points against you. Once you hit so many points it prohibits you from doing certain things (I forget exactly). There is more detail on the points system in one of the stickies here in the forum.

Hi Joaquin,
Greg is correct about the points system: flights not completed within the 48 hour period after you reserve the flight will accrue 2 points, versus the 1 point accrued by manually resetting the flight. I suspect there may be more at issue than not completing the flight. The pilot's manual states that pilots coming back from an Extended LOA need to get in touch with the HR manager to be re-instated. That could be why the flight was re-set...in effect not recognizing you as a pilot that was available on the roster to complete that flight. The other issue may have been one that I have run into a few times and that is the flight 'timing out" during the course of the flight (ie reaching the 48 hour limit during the course of the flight). This will also re-set the flight. Justin and Tomas are aware of this issue and plan to address it in a future update. I would suggest sending email to Ralf at HR to request re-activation, and to your region manager to inquire about the points issue. I hope this helps clarify things a bit..and good to have you back!

Re: Meaning of this message
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you guys, getting things organised for Xmas has been hectic.
After I read your posts I opened GCP 2.3.3 and immediately got a warning to tell me last flight had not been completed, and if I would like to reload.
The flight was completed, but not sure what went wrong, in any case it's too late now. Will write to to Luc to let him know I'm back in active service.
Merry Xmas and happy New Year 2012.
