Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.
More charts have been produced comparing August 2012 aircraft activity to that of July 2012 and August 2011. July 2012 and August 2011 were selected for comparison to see the difference from the month just previous to August 2012 and to see the difference of the same time period from the previous year.
747-400F was removed from all charts because it is far and away the most active aicraft and literally "off the charts".
The 747-8F was added in July 2012 and therefore reports 0 flights in August 2011.
The 737-800 was added in June 2012 and therefore reports 0 flights in August 2011.
Number of 747-400F flights in the relevant months:
I agree. In fact, I did have a formula programmed in Excel to do that but stupid me, I shutdown the computer some time after working on it and hadn't saved the file. The formula was a bit complicated and I just haven't gotten around to researching it again. It is on my eventual to-do list
I thought about doing this for 777 flights when it's released and was going to run it by you? I've got Microsoft Word and could do with learning how to do graphs, charts and pie charts like yours.
I don't now what your thoughts are on it and me doing this?
On a side note I mailed John but waiting to hear from him.
I do enjoy a good chart That's something we can do and we can talk about once more pressing issues are complete for the 777 fleet.
I am using Excel to produce the charts and downloading a data dump from the server which I would being obtaining for you. When we get to that point I can show you how to produce the charts. The process isn't very intuitive but if you have nothing better to do, read up on Pivot Charts in Excel until we are able to get together.

We should have a discussion. It would be great to develop a workbook covering many different types of stats. I struggle to develop the complicated formulae so if you are really familiar with Excel I think we can make a good product for ourselves.
