Monthly flight time

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Monthly flight time

Post by jfriz »

Hi folks,
I am having a problem with the monthly flight time.
First, for international flying I believe the rule is 30 day flight time. [one would be dropping time as the days go by from the previous month.]

Right now the monthly times are locked up, I can't bid on any open board flights, because I have exceeded the 100 hour limit. I don't think I have flown the 111, hours shown.
I had the same thing last month, and the hours never cleared out after the change in months, it took a few days.
Thanks, Jerry Friz, near KSEA

Hi Volker,
Okay, thanks for checking.
Looks like modified domestic flight rules being used. [only 100 hours] Monthly time should reset on the first of the month.
I guess this is more like the 30 day flight rule. Seems we should be using international flight rules.
At any rate not a big deal.

Hi Volker,
121 operations include both domestic, and international. The crew flight times are different, like I said, not a big deal anyway.
