Dispatch Generator

"Hello all, I have been absent for several months for reasons out of my control. I am hoping to start my regular flying again right away but I have one doubt. In the time I have been away, this ""dispatch generator"" option has appeared but I do not know what it is used for. Could someone be so kind as to explain it to me?.
