"Since I am a newbie here, I am allowed to ask some stupid questions. I read that we are allowed to actually do the flights at any time of the day (setting system clock to the scheduled flight time), did that include the day of the week (and week too)? I can bid on most all flights, but as the month progresses my personal schedule may dictate otherwise. Thanks... "

"As long as the Time and Date are set within FS you can do them anytime within your Bid Month, and Scheduled Flights are self explanatory safe landings. Mike"

Dan the only flights were you have to fly them before the actual time is mostly Atlas charter; specially the F-1 teams that have to be flown before the actual race. It is usually posted. <!--emo&;)--><!--endemo-->

"However, when I'm utilizing VATSIM, I set it to real time (and most probably the wrong time/day/week combination according to the Polar schedule). Reason is, in order to provide correct PACOTS position reports, I need to be on the same clock as the controllers. <!--emo&;)--><!--endemo-->"

"Ted, When crossing the ditch between Australia and New Zealand we have to provide position reports. The way we do it is to only align the minutes with real time so when we give our reports we give the time as so many minutes after the hour. This is slightly different to real world but it works brilliantly."
